Fernando Laguda has more than 28 years of collective business experience, in multiple industries, which include but are not limited to, medical supplies, publishing, direct and retail sales, corporate training, radio promotions, large event management, copywriting, digital marketing and mixed martial arts promotion. He is a serial entrepreneur having built and successfully ran multiple businesses impacting domestic and international markets. 

Fernando began his career in San Diego, California as circulation director of Tuned-In Magazine, a TV Guide-type magazine with heavy circulation and wide readership throughout San Diego County. He left the magazine to start a medical supply company, which he later sold to a much larger NASDAQ-listed firm, Longport Medical.

Fernando has extensive marketing and direct sales experience, having marketed products both domestically and internationally. He built an organization that put him in the top 10 among over 100,000 distributors and earned the position of Presidential Advisory Council. His expertise as a marketing, sales and training consultant was sought after by numerous direct sales companies, including NutriQuest, Future Vision, Boo Koo, Pure Power energy drinks and Metabolife where he generated more than a million in monthly sales.

Fernando took his direct sales expertise and opened and successfully ran nine Metabolife retail stores in Nevada, Ohio, and Kentucky. The stores collectively yielded $2.5 million in sales during the first twelve months of operation. His teamwork principles, duplicable system and aggressive radio campaign helped Metabolife grow from $600,000 to over $1 billion in annual sales in just 4 years.

Just for fun, in 2015, Fernando co-founded a Mix Martial Arts league. They produced 13 major events and 28 episodes on Pinoy Extreme Cable Channel, gaining international exposure and national television distribution as the fastest growing MMA league in the Philippines. Today, he is a partner in TribalTorogi MMA Academy, which has 5 professional fighters in One Championship MMA League and some of the top, up and coming MMA fighters in the Philippines.

Next, Fernando became the Founder and CEO of Social Sales Pro, a digital marketing, direct sales, web, and software development company. He provides strategic counsel for startups and existing companies looking to enter the Philippines, Asia, Russia and USA. He develops and executes customer acquisition campaigns, corporate registration, legal compliance, leadership acquisition, training, national and international expansion.

His philanthropic endeavors include community service with San Diego Youth at Risk, a nonprofit organization addressing the needs of “at risk” students. His volunteer work produced commendation from the Honorable Maureen O’Conner, Mayor of San Diego.
