Alan Alpert has more than 40 years of business experience, in multiple industries, which include but are not limited to, consulting, wholesale operations, salesforce training, PPE, telecommunications and retail. His clients have included Standard Oil, Allstate, Arthur Anderson, Legal Shield, Avon and Advocare. Alan is a serial entrepreneur having launched and operated multiple companies.
Alan began his career as an executive recruiter for Fortune 500 companies, such as Standard Oil, Allstate, and Arthur Anderson. After listening to C-Suite concerns over dependable, crisis-proof global supply chains, he relocated his growing family from Chicago to Atlanta, where he launched a wholesale operation supplying electronics, housewares, apparel, and technology to corporate and retail clients from more than 25 regional distributorships. In 1986, he added tele-sales to his entrepreneurial resume, managing four offices with more than 150 employees and 200 agents based out of Central Florida. His telco expertise led him to open International Telcom Consultants in 1994, bringing innovative communication solutions to omni-channel marketers.
Known for his visionary leadership and commonsense management style, Alan has trained thousands of employees and entrepreneurs over the course of his career. The companies he has founded - and the award-winning products they develop - are recognized for integrity, innovation, and value. Alan has been appointed to numerous committees and advisory boards over the course of his career and received many awards.
At the end of 2018, Alan battled against a rare form of cancer. After a transplant and 6-month recovery process, he is back on the scene victorious. Alan co-founded Global Direct Medical in the face of a global pandemic, to source and supply 21st Century solutions that directly combat COVID challenges in the PPE space. Global Direct Medical accelerates business recovery and reopening strategies, providing safety solutions for brands’ employees and their customers.
